Confidence Coaching for Teens
Life Coaching for Adolescents, Teens & Young Adults

About Confidence Coaching

Our teenage years can feel overwhelming. From navigating social dynamics and fitting in with peers to dealing with academic pressures and self-identity, the emotional rollercoaster can be intense. Plus, physical changes and desire for independence add to the complexity of this transformative time.
On top of typical challenges, maybe you're child is introverted or kind of shy. Maybe they're nervous, socially uncomfortable or may just need to get out of their own way!
Confidence Coaching is a forward focused, individualized approach to recognizing our strengths, embracing our uniqueness and hopefully taking a step outside the comfort zone.
Confidence Coaching is not therapy. This level of coaching may be just what's needed or it may be a supplement to therapy. If we find that your child would benefit from a higher level of care, I will discuss openly with you and your child when appropriate.
Who is appropriate for
Confidence Coaching?
Confidence Coaching is a support for ages pre-teen to young adults who may be going through a change or transition, a difficult time with peers or just feeling frustrated and confused.
Services are also available for parents and caregivers who may be want to talk about concerns and are seeking guidance.
Confidence Coaching is available in 3 session packages. I do believe in person sessions create more of a connection but I am happy to work with busy schedules if needed and meet virtually.
Every teen or issue does not require ongoing therapy and this may be a perfect solution. If ongoing meetings are desired, I am happy to work with families.
Introduction meetings are free, so let's meet!
About Michelle
I'm Michelle Varvaro, Founder of Confidence Coaching for Teens. I specialize in engaging youth to build confidence, connection and move forward.
For over 30 years, I have worked directly with youth and young adults in the mental health and substance use fields. In addition, I have extensive experience supporting families in helping their child.
With a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, a Master's in Special Education and a Bachelor's in Studio Art & Sociology, I combine deep professional expertise with a creative, hands-on approach that goes beyond traditional talk based methods. I believe teens grow best when they feel supported, understood and actively engaged - so I think outside the box to meet each young person where they are.
